Critical Success Criteria for 100% Customer Satisfaction
Our team has managed many
audio/video installation projects in homes
ranging from high-end condominiums to $20
million estates. Over the years, we have built a
checklist of the critical success factors to
ensure superb quality and a 100% customer
satisfaction rating on every project. There are
many secrets to success, with some of the key
factors listed here: |
 | |
|
|

 |
- Fully interview the customer
before the system is designed to find out exactly what
is needed and wanted, and then provide that to the
customer.
- Only provide equipment and services
that the client really needs or wants. Make no attempt to
convince the client to purchase things he really doesn’t
need or want.
- Recommend and use only products and
technologies that have proven reliable. Avoid “cutting-edge”
technology and products until they have proven reliable over
time by others. Never make the client a “guinea pig” for
unproven products or technologies.
- Use only quality components from
well-established, well-respected manufacturers who have
provided quality products and excellent customer service for
many years and are widely respected in the industry.
- Keep system design simple, reliable,
and at a level of sophistication that is appropriate for the
client so that the client will use the system often and
enjoy it.
- Work effectively with the client,
contractor, designer, cabinet builder, electrician, and all
other related trades to ensure excellent results and that
all installations are both fully functioning as well as
seamlessly integrated into the aesthetic design of the
home.
- Personally inspect the work of, and
meet with, each of the subcontractors to ensure every aspect
of the AV project is prepared for as needed and specified.
(For example, we not only specify the cabinet space required
for the Audio Video equipment and ventilation needed in a
cabinet, but we also go to the cabinet builder’s shop during
construction to insure that the construction is per all
specifications. Dimensions and ventilation are
critical for proper AV installation and functioning
over time. A final inspection is also made after the cabinet
is installed and finished to make sure all details of the
final cabinet installation are proper with regard to the AV
project and that the cabinet is truly ”ready” for the AV
installation before scheduling the final equipment
installation).
- Respect the customer's home and
possessions during each phase of the project. Leave the
jobsite at the end of the day cleaner than we found it when
we arrived.
- Use only fully trained, skilled
technicians and licensed contractors on client projects
— complete professionals that are
clean, ethical, respectable, and produce high-quality work.
Directly supervise and work hands-on, on-site on every
project.
- Test and program all equipment and
systems at our shop BEFORE bringing these to the customer
jobsite so that the final installation is a smooth
installation of a working, tested system instead of an
on-site design and de-bugging session.
- Use extensive knowledge and experience
to handle all the project details and foresee and prevent
potential problems. Produce excellent results by insisting
on high system performance standards and unmatched customer
service with integrity. Effectively communicate with the
client and other trades whenever needed.
